Status and information about our new home
Anchoring God’s Ministry
The Presbyterian Church of Lake Travis has worshipped in various rented spaces since beginning as a New Church Development. Last year we purchased property on Hamilton Pool Road in the City of Bee Cave and anticipate that we will soon break ground to build our permanent home. We are excited about new opportunities for sharing God’s love and serving the Lake Travis community when we move into our new building. Please join with us in God’s ministry.

Progress Update
As of now we have submitted and received approval for the entire preliminary site plan. We have submitted the final site plans and are awaiting approval of them. The initial building plans have also been submitted.
We also have most of the preliminary bids for the site work and building. We do, however, need final approval from the City to finalize bids. All of this said, we expect to have site approval by mid February and should be able to begin site work very shortly thereafter. Building plan approval will be going on during the site development work.
Despite all of the approvals required and the length of time it takes to get them, God has been on our side and we have not had any major issues yet. We are expecting to be in our new home by late fall. As to how much of our new home will be completed, that is still an open question, as we cannot know that until we have our final bids.
Another indication of God working with us is that the Presbyterian Investment and Loan Program (PILP) has approved and CLOSED the loan for our building. When we are ready for actual construction, we have our loan and will not be held up waiting for money.
Finally, for any of you who may be waiting to make a contribution or additional contribution, now is the time. Remember it is far less expensive for PCLT to build out as much as we can afford on our initial construction phase than to modify or change existing contract once we are underway.
